Two guitars, bass, drums, djembe, didgeridoo, wavedrum, darbuka and sampler. Furthermore six musicians who utilize their instruments not only to make music, but to create the soundtrack for your journey through life. That is what generally became known as TRIPTONUS.
Triptonus is the Vienna-based six-piece collective known for their intense live performances and their unique combination of Psychedelic Rock, percussion grooves and experimental Electronica.
Triptonus intentionally refrain from the use of a leading voice to let you drift through worlds and stories you create on your own by means of your imagination.
Triptonus released their first EP “Sprout” in 2013, followed by the self-titled LP “Triptonus” in 2015 and “Soundless Voice” in 2021.
They have shared the stage with international acts like Radio Moscow, Elder, Stoned Jesus, The Egocentrics, Mother’s Cake, Seven that Spells, performed at the Desert Sun Festival, Enter The Void Fest, Barbarie, Psyka, Setalight, Fuzzfest, Lake on Fire etc. and toured across Europe many times.
The collective is currently working on a fourth album which is planned on releasing at the beginning of 2025.
